Photo by Sean McCall My name is Spencer McCall. My photography career began in 2000 when I was hired by the Ontario Government to photograph ecclesiastical buildings in North Glengarry County, Ontario, Canada. However, my endeavors in the medium have been anything but linear; a degree in English Literature at the University of Toronto and several years of working abroad in South Korea and Japan followed.

In the decade since I was first introduced to architectural photography by working for the Ontario Government I have gone on to photograph, political rallies, weddings, birthday parties, music concerts, and theatre productions. The genre that I most frequently work in is travel photography. I currently host two blogs on my website that showcase my time at home in Toronto and abroad in South Korea. I am able to explore street, urban, architectural and even art photography through my travels. I try to not only explore the geography of the built, urban environment in my travel blogs, but the people and landmarks that compose the unique landscapes of the places I live, work and wander.

I live and work in South Korea. I hope you enjoy browsing the many galleries on this site and feel free to contact me with any questions or comments at contact@mccallimage.com.

Sincerely,

Spencer McCall
